[WAPO] “WITH THE presidential campaign entering its final days, you have likely heard the latest theory gaining currency among political pundits: If the election is about Hillary Clinton, and not Donald Trump, she is sure to lose.

We have written a lot in recent months about why Mr. Trump is manifestly unqualified — by experience, temperament and outlook — for the Oval Office. We agree that attention paid to his unfitness is to Ms. Clinton’s benefit. But we also believe that fair examination of Ms. Clinton in her own right provides convincing evidence that she is well prepared and fully capable to succeed as president of the United States.

When we endorsed Ms. Clinton, we stressed we were not choosing between the lesser of two evils. “Hillary Clinton,” we wrote, “has the potential to be an excellent president. . . . Anyone who votes for her will be able to look back, four years from now, with pride in that decision.” Not only has Ms. Clinton sketched out a thoughtful and ambitious policy agenda but she has run an impressive campaign, including her choice of running mate and her nimble mastery of three debates.

We are not alone in our recommendation. Most newspapers — including conservative newspapers that never before supported a Democrat for president — have endorsed Ms. Clinton, as have publications that broke decades-long traditions of not choosing sides. She has been backed by an impressive number of officials, former officials and experts from both sides of the aisle, including cabinet secretaries, retired military and Nobel Prize winners. Tellingly, people who worked most closely with her are most enthusiastic. “Prepared, detail-oriented, thoughtful, inquisitive and willing to change her mind if presented with a compelling argument,” was the testimonial offered by Michael J. Morell, 33-year veteran of the Central Intelligence Agency, who has served presidents of both parties and never publicly backed a presidential candidate before. “I never saw her bring politics into the Situation Room.”

These capabilities — President Obama has said there has never been anyone more qualified than Ms. Clinton to serve as president — must not be obscured in the sideshow whipped up by her opponents and unfortunately enabled by FBI Director James B. Comey’s ill-advised letter to Congress last month. There is no question that Ms. Clinton has flaws and has made mistakes in her 30 years in public life, but the caricature painted by her opponents is more slander than reality. Yes, she was wrong to use a private email server as secretary of state, but that does not constitute treason. Nor, as Mr. Comey’s Sunday letter makes clear, did it involve criminal behavior. Yes, she and her husband should have taken more care in avoiding even the appearance of conflicts with the Clinton Foundation, but that again doesn’t mean that crimes were committed or that the foundation doesn’t do worthy work.

It is hard to imagine that any other politician subjected to decades of unrelenting conspiracy-mongering, unprecedented scrutiny and outright misogyny would fare as well as she has. Some of the emails from her staff stolen by Russia and released show thoughtless comments and embarrassing political calculations by her staff, but many others reveal a woman with discipline and resilience who thinks thoughtfully about the important issues of the day and pushes for pragmatic solutions. Those are the qualities we hope will result in her being elected president on Nov. 8.”

[November 6, 2016] FBI Director Comey Notified Congress That The Agency Won’t Recommend Charges Over Newly Discovered Clinton Email After Careful Review. Comey Said We Stand By Our Initial Position In July, No Charges!

FBI Director James B. Comey notified key members of Congress Sunday afternoon that after reviewing all of the newly discovered Hillary Clinton emails the agency stands by its original findings against recommending charges.

Comey Wrote that investigators had worked “around the clock” to review all the emails found on a device used by former congressman Anthony Weiner that had been sent to or from Clinton and that “we have not changed our conclusions expressed in July.

The emails came from a laptop owned by Weiner, the estranged husband of top Clinton aide Huma Abedin, and had been seized by the FBI on Oct. 3 as part of an investigation into lewd text messages Weiner is alleged to have sent to a 15-year-old girl.

Comey had come under fire for inserting the FBI into the campaign’s final days with the announcement. Department of Justice policy discourages the agency from taking steps in days before an election, to avoid the perception that the FBI is trying to the influence the outcome of the vote.

A spokesman for the FBI declined to comment beyond Comey’s letter.

Support and Vote Hillary Clinton for President and Elect a Democratic Controlled Congress and remove the Do Nothing Republicans.

On Nov. 8, Americans May Elect Our First Female President, Hillary Clinton. Women Have Changed With Time but too many men didn’t. The Men Feminists Left Behind. What Happens Next? [NYT]

[NYT] “On Nov. 8, Americans may elect our first female president. While many of us are exhilarated at the idea of this feminist victory, the toll we’ve paid for coming so close to that historic barrier has been the most graphically sexist election in living memory.

What this campaign has shown us is that while feminism has transformed American culture, our politics and the lives of women, men haven’t evolved nearly as rapidly. Women changed. Too many men didn’t. What happens next?

For all of American history, white men have been both the dominant group and the default one: It was mostly white men in charge, and it was white male experiences and norms against which all others found themselves contrasted and defined. When Hillary Clinton started at Yale Law School in 1969, there was only one woman in the United States Senate. It was legal for a man to rape his wife, but abortion was mostly outlawed. Mrs. Clinton graduated as one of just 27 women in a class of 235, after being explicitly told that if accepted into law school, she would take the rightful place of a man.

Decades-long movements for women’s rights have challenged that system, breaking down the legal and social barriers that blocked women from the work force, questioning the cultural rules that so often kept women silent, and giving women more control over their bodies and, by extension, their futures. The same year Mrs. Clinton graduated from Yale, the Supreme Court held that American women had a legal right to abortion; that, coupled with expanded access to contraception, meant that women flooded into colleges and workplaces.”

Stop Pretending You Don’t Know Why People Hate Hillary Clinton! [Bad News For The Haters]

Posted in 2016 Presidency, 2016 Presidential Election, 2016 Presidential Race, 2016 White House, Democrats, Michelle Obama, President Obama, Secretary of State, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Thank you Hillary, United States, Women, Women's Rights with tags , , , , on November 4, 2016 by sheriffali

aaaliphotos-123

[Huff-Post]“Why Is Clinton disliked?

Why the hate for Hillary?

Why do people hate Hillary Clinton so much?

Is it because of partisanship?

Or a hard-fought primary?

Maybe, NBC once suggested, it’s because “she’s not a train wreck.”

Funny how the answers seem to be everything but the obvious.

We go on endlessly about how “untrustworthy” she is, while fact checkers rank her as the second-most honest prominent politician in the country. (And her opponent as by far the least.)

We say that she has trouble with transparency, while her opponent refuses to release his taxes and the current administration sets records for secrecy.

We decry her ties to corporations and the financial industry, while supporting a walking tax shelter or mourning the exit of a president whose re-election was funded by a record-shattering Wall Street haul.

We list so very many explanations, all of them complete bullshit.

In truth, the Hillary haters seem to resent her more than disagree with her. They demand to be humored and catered to. They hold her to wildly different standards than her male counterparts. They regard her with an unprecedented degree of suspicion. Above all, they really, really want to see her punished. And an aggressive male presence—even if dangerously incompetent—seems to comfort a great many of them.

Everyone but them knows damn well why.

Bad news for the haters: History is decidedly unafraid of “the woman card.” It doesn’t care how many people will stand on tables today and swear they’d feel the same if she were a man. It will see us for what we are—a sick society, driven by misogyny and pathetically struggling to come to terms with the fact that women do not exist solely to nurture.

If that answer isn’t as nuanced as the average thinkpiece, that’s because we, as a people, are not. No matter how many branches have formed, they all emerged from the same seed, planted way back when Bill Clinton first ran for governor. She wouldn’t be so suspicious of the press, or so measured in her presentation, or so any one of a thousand other things, if she had been born a man.

The lengths we go to in order to rationalize this all will be seen, in retrospect, as extraordinary.

When the Bush administration was discovered to have erased millions of emails illegally sent by 22 administration officials through private, RNC-owned accounts, in order to thwart an investigation into the politically motivated firing of eight US attorneys, just one talk show covered it that Sunday.

When Mitt Romney wiped servers, sold government hard drives to his closest aides and spent $100,000 in taxpayer money to destroy his administration’s emails, it was barely an issue.

When Hillary Clinton asked Colin Powell how he managed to use a Blackberry while serving as Secretary of State, he replied by detailing his method of intentionally bypassing federal record-keeping laws:”

Support And Vote Hillary Clinton For President And Elect A Democratic Congress.

Hilary Clinton was First Lady of Arkansas, First Lady of The United States, US Senator For New York and Secretary of State. Hillary Clinton has released her Tax Returns from 1977 through 2015. On November 8, 2016 we vote to Elect a New President as President Obama steps down from the Two Terms as allowed by Law. If you set aside the rambunctious out of control Media and Republicans, some Independents and yes, even some Democratic noise about Hillary Clinton and “Search The Truth” about Hillary Clinton, I have no doubt that the decision to Vote for Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump, wouldn’t be difficult at all.

[NYT] “WASHINGTON — President Obama sharply criticized the decision by his F.B.I.  Director to alert Congress on Friday about the discovery of new emails related to the Hillary Clinton server case, implying that it violated investigative guidelines and trafficked in innuendo.

“We don’t operate on incomplete information,” Mr. Obama said in an interview with NowThis News, broadcast Wednesday. “We don’t operate on leaks. We operate based on concrete decisions that are made.”

“When this was investigated thoroughly the last time, the conclusion of the F.B.I., the conclusion of the Justice Department, the conclusion of repeated congressional investigations was that she had made some mistakes but that there wasn’t anything there that was prosecutable,” Mr. Obama said.”

President Obama Calls On Men To Reflect On Sexism Before Voting And Hillary Clinton Tells Boys To Show Respect To Girls And Women!

President Barack Obama on Tuesday called on men to “look inside” themselves and think about bias if they have any doubt about voting for Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

“To the guys out there, I want to be honest,” Obama told a crowd in Columbus, Ohio, at a Clinton campaign event. “You know, there’s a reason we haven’t had a woman president before.”

He asked male voters to think about their potential biases against Clinton, who would be the first female president in U.S. history.

“I want every man out there who’s voting to kinda look inside yourself and ask yourself, if you’re having problems with this stuff, how much of it is that we’re just not used to it?” he said. “When a guy is ambitious and out in the public arena and working hard, well that’s okay. But when a woman suddenly does it, suddenly you’re all like, well, why’s she doing that?”

Obama went on to praise Clinton. “She is so much better qualified than the other guy,” he said, referring to GOP nominee Donald Trump. “She has conducted herself so much better in public life than the other guy.”

Obama blasted Trump for his disrespectful treatment of women and said the behavior would continue should he be elected president.

“The only thing this office does is it amplifies who you are. It magnifies who you are,” he said. “If you disrespected women before you were elected, you will disrespect women once you’re president.”

Republicans are fully cognizant that Donald Trump is not going to win the Presidency but rather than put forth positive Polices for the Country, Republicans are on the same path as they have been with President Obama, “Obstruct In Every Way Possible Even If It Hurts America And The American People.”

Ask yourself, “What Have Republicans Done In The Past 15 Years For America Or The American People? If you claim that they have done many things, you are willfully lying or you are uninformed, ignorant, uneducated and suffering from a bad case of the “Stockholm Syndrome.”

Go out and vote as if your life depends on it because in reality, it does!

Hillary Clinton is no quitter, she is highly educated, enormously qualified and most experienced but she cannot do all that needs to be done all by herself. Hillary’s Campaign Logo “Stronger Together” is most appropriate and if you believe in Hillary Clinton then do everything you possibly can to “keep watch of her back,” for it is an open target for the Republican Wayfarers that have lost their way since the inception of 2001 to this very day.

Please, Please, give Hillary Clinton your full Support and Vote so that she wins in a Major Landslide” and that she is blessed with a Democratic Controlled Congress and other Down Ballots.

Hillary Clinton is counting on you, please don’t let her down, we have come too far under President Obama to turn back now. Keep America moving forward. Republicans only knows the “Reverse Gear.”

It is remarkable how the Media, Republicans, some Independents and some Democrats have constantly and consistently “labeled” Hillary Clinton as “untrustworthy.”

Hillary Clinton’s problem is not “transparency” it is “Misogyny!” America, for all of the braggadocio we indulge in about “Human Rights and Equal Rights and Equal Rights for Women,” we are hypocrites, hypocrites because despite being one of the most stable Democracies in the world, our words fall short. It is not our words that ring of hypocrisy, “it is our DEEDS.”

We are on the verge of Electing the First Woman to be President and yet, despite Hillary Clinton being enormously educated, very qualified and the most experienced person to ever seek the Presidency, the Media, Republicans, some Independents and yes, some Democrats just cannot usurp the bias they have against women being at the top of the Ladder.

As President Obama said during the Democratic Convention, “not him, not Bill nor any other person is more qualified to be President than Hillary Clinton.”

Hillary Clinton is a Yale Graduate Attorney and was named 3 years in a Row as one of America’s top 100 Lawyers by the American Bar association; Hillary was First Lady of Arkansas; First Lady of The United States; two term US Senator and Secretary of State and yet, Americans compare her to her “Opponent” who has never done anything for anyone, but conned Investors, robbed Employees and Contractors, created a fraudulent University and literally embezzled money from the young, middle-age, Veteran and yes, Seniors, for which he is facing a Fraud Trial under the RICO-ACT on November 28, 2016 and a Rape Case of a minor in December 2016.

People are wrong when they lay claim that Hillary Clinton is the Lesser of Two Evils, no she is not! Hillary Clinton has spent her entire adult life fighting for Children’s, Women, Men and Equal Rights for all, that is a service that should be praised, but instead, it is denigrated by almost every American News Agency – Television, Radio and Print.

Please no complacency! Support and Vote Hillary Clinton for President and give Hillary a Democratic Controlled Congress by getting rid of the “Do Nothing Republican Congress.”

[WAPO] “Justice Officials warned FBI that Comey’s decision to update Congress was not consistent with department policy

Senior Justice Department officials warned the FBI that Director James B. Comey’s decision to notify Congress about renewing the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s private email server was not consistent with long-standing practices of the department, according to officials familiar with the discussions.

The bureau told Justice Department officials that Comey intended to inform lawmakers of newly discovered emails. These officials told the FBI the department’s position “that we don’t comment on an ongoing investigation. And we don’t take steps that will be viewed as influencing an election,” said one Justice Department official who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the high-level conversations.

“Director Comey understood our position. He heard it from Justice Leadership,” the official said. “It was conveyed to the FBI, and Comey made an independent decision to alert the Hill. He is operating independently of the Justice Department. And he knows it.”
